Advancing development & business in greater Oshkosh
Supporting community efforts to make Oshkosh a better place to live, work and play.
Established in 1981, West Side Association began as an effort to help business owners keep abreast of the development efforts emerging along the Highway 41 corridor. Over the years, the we have expanded to assist and encourage the growth and promotion of businesses, and to advance the interest, welfare and development of the greater Oshkosh Community.

Where Is the "West Side"?

The geographic definition of "West Side" has also expanded over the years. Initially, it included the area west of Sawyer St, but as Oshkosh's business community has grown, WSA moved that western boundary further east, to include businesses on Knapp and Ohio Streets. Finally, a loose interpretation of "west side" now includes not only businesses that are physically located in that area, but also companies that conduct business on the west side of Oshkosh. Which means just about anyone with an interest in the growth and development of Oshkosh's commercial highway corridor is eligible for membership in West Side Association.
